Aliso Viejo is one of the newest cities in Orange County. Aliso Viejo had an estimated population of 41,424 as of 2007, and about 17,000 homes. Aliso Viejo became Orange County’s 34th city on July 1, 2001, the only city in the county to incorporate since 2000.
